Hi, do not know how but I have corrupted my music folder, I had it in two places tried to delete one 15GB and now I have multi sub music folders I can not delete any as this comes on screen The folder contains files names that are to long for recycle bin. I can not delete or rename. Also when I look at My Music on close down it places a folder on desktop. I have tried everything I can think of system restore works but does not change Music. Shredding music files window washer with bleach. problem remains any ideas.

can't the files be held by some process? closing everything and/or killing all unnecessary processes could help... or restarting. but as you mention the system restore... it's probably not that case..?

"too long for recycle bin"... does shift + delete work in vista as well? (i mean, deleting a file really, not moving it to the recycle bin)
