I, for the life of me, can't locate the printer driver version for this printer. After the last windows update, my laptop can't find the printer. When I do a local computer search for the printer it finds this: 'Canon WX920 series printer WS (Copy 1)'

That leads me to believe I somehow lost the original printer driver and the computer created a copy. BUT it really doesn't seem to work. I keep getting a message that the printer is off line. When I do a local search for printers it can't find it using WiFi which I had been using for two years.

Using the internet recommended methods of trying to find a printer driver on the laptop I come up empty. When looking at the Canon site for MX920 drivers, it finds two. Both dated 2016. One for XML files, which I don't need, but the canon site insists on trying to install that one.

Solved. I have located the proper driver on the Canon web site. Downloaded and installed. All seems to be in working order now.

That would've been my first reply and if you can't find it there then it's no longer supported. And not much anyone can do to help.

I'm glad to hear it worked. The last couple of Win 10 updates have created printer problems. I found that, for a while, the only way I could get Win 10 to find my (recent - less than 6 months old) hp printer was to load the old Control Panel and search for it there. It's not clear what caused the problem, but, for a while, a number of printer manufacturers were scrambling to find solutions.
