    Can't install .NET Framework 3.5?

    Why can't I install .NET Framework 3.5? When I double-click the installer nothing happens.

    Please help, I really need it installed.

    Probably this one WIN7 HOME PREMIUM 64-BIT.
    Try installing it in admin mode or wait longer to see if anything happens.

    Can't find it in the remove programs section, plus when I do the javascript thing in IE it doesn't say 3.5 is installed.

    Where can I get the SP's? I think .NET 4.0 just got installed because I did a WIN7 update.

    He can install .NET 4.0, but that isn't .NET 3.5.

    Download details: .NET Framework Version 2.0 Redistributable Package (x64)

    Make sure to get only the X64 versions not X86(32B), might as well start from the beginning.

    Thanks, though.

    The reason I think I can't run my friends software is because I can't find the network 3.5 and 2.0 etc in the Add or Remove program section, leading me to believe it's not installed. Do you think there's any other problem it could be?

    That's the link for 2.0, I meant for you to try every version after that by checking for related downloads....To see if youre missing any other .new packages.
