This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Can you recover undeleted files?

    de ja vu haha. A friend of mine put her jpeg file in microsoft photo editor and accidently ruined the picture and saved it as well. I put the jpeg files on to her computer a couple of hours ago. Is it still possible to somehow recover the original files?

    You could try right clicking > properties > previous versions, but that's a long shot as that relies on system restore points. Besides that, I do not know. Do you not have the originals from whatever device you transferred them from?

    unfortunately no. i will try what you mentioned. anybody else having suggestions i would appriciate it.

    Edit: My bad.. was just reading your post / thread title again, and relaized recuva was not a solution as I'd mentioned before.. sorry :eek: :eek: :eek: for some reason, I didn't notice the 'un' in undeleted until now....
