    For some odd reason, my laptop's 1.8Ghz i5 won't go above .77Mhz whenever I'm doing anything(office work, gaming, prime95).
    I can play GPU intensive games alright, but I can't seem to run Dota 2 over 25 FPS. I'm guessing it's because of the processor speed.
    Can anyone suggest me a good processor controller program?(If such a thing exists). Hopefully, I'd be able to get my processor to run at full speed with that.

    @TBoneSan
    Thanks. I'll try that.

    My laptop used to go up to 2.20GHz when I'm playing a game. Not sure why, but it won't go above .77Mhz now even when under Prime95's torture tests. I've tried messing with the power management options, but nothing seems to be affecting the clock speed.
