I'm trying to install windows XP Pro 32-Bit on an Vaio CW (VPC-CW21FX/B) but am getting the blue screen of death. I've tried to use nLite following other threads but none of the sata drivers are working for me. Any help is appreciated.

Sata driver is only for XP to bypass the AHCI support in order to be able to install. BSOD is mostly from device drivers that are not being supported.
Can you expand more as to when you get the BSOD? -

Besides the fact that you don't get the drivers (why should Sony or any other manufacturer supply drivers for an ancient OS that's dead?), I really wonder why you want to use XP.
Any real (!!) need?? -
i`m using many engineering software ,this software not install in windows xp, very urgently need xp

Have you tried XP mode? (if you have Win 7 Pro or higher?)
Or tried to install in compatibility mode?
(Maple 9.5 doesn't normally run on Vista either - in compatibility mode it does)
I also suspect that Win7 will be able to utilize the hardware of the laptop more efficiently.
Maybe you can start a thread and ask how to install your programmes on Win7? -
Agree Windows 7 has so many improvements over Xp no one should be doing this.
Windows 7 has XP Mode for compatibility. -
some company same as hp or sony release downgrade os kit for laptop with Core I technology,
-
Heck, they only released a BIOS that allows switching on VT due to XP mode... -

sony release xp driver for all unit with core i cpu -
You could install XP in a VM like VirtualBox... if that is necessary.

-
Especially as XP will be deader than dead in 1 or a maximum of 2 years - and is so already... -
i know win7 better, but need i need windows xp

Any help is appreciated.

A virtual machine is a very good solution, unless you can give a good reason you need to run XP directly on the hardware and a virtual machine won't work. -
I highly recommend VirtualBox as well since it's free and very powerful. If you figure out how to use the SATA controller. (Hint: Install in VirtualBox as IDE and then install the Intel SATA drivers and then switch the HD from one controller to the other). You will then find that XP runs amazingly fast. In fact it's pretty much at it's native speed.

VirtualBox didn`t support many software
Can I downgrade an VAIO with Intel Core I3,I5or I7 to XP?
