I have Prestigio 158W . The performance of the build in mic is so pure.I have to talk so near in order to record my voice. Everithing with settings is OK. Everithing with the soft and drivers is OK .I did what exactly sound card manifacturer suggested me - the performance remain the same.
My friend has different notebook , also with build in mic. His voice can be heard from several meters - my just from few cm.
What I can do more. Is there a software which can boost or amplifier my build-in microfone.
Please advice me what to do.
    thanks

I take it you have your mic level at the highest setting.

    My built-in mic sucks too.

A good amp to work with built-in mic will be hard too find being that most will distort sound.

I suggest hooking a external mic. Headset would be the best option.
