    What are those for you, and on which browser?

    For me (on chrome mainly):
    Some kind of adblock (w.e method)
    Autopagerize/auto pager
    double click on tab
    link clump/multi link
    Some kind of session manager (maybe, not really needed)

    extension currently used that I can part with ("for the greater good")
    google quick scroll
    last pass
    search preview
    some kind of youtube addon

    An add blocker is the only I can't live without.

    On firefox, I also usually have no script and ghostery.

    I prefer FF for add-ons, but IE is a far superior web browser. The only issue is it recently begun hanging on youtube videos: They load, but will not play.

    FF with all its add-ons fluidity, has had loads of issues including frequent crashes and is slow as molasses in comparison. Nevertheless, I continue to use it because of its convenient add-block capability.

    Not sold on the IE is a superior browser, but it is indeed quite good these days and I have no qualms about using it. In fact, I am right now, however, I'm not used to using IE and I'm not familiar on the add-ons, so if anyone has suggestions for IE add-ons, fire away.

    Adblock.

    Not sure IE has any. Well, there's something (tracking protection, spellcheck, etc.) but they are not as advanced as on FF.

    Again more adblock that is pretty not much working...the PC hosts is free and works for all broswer since it first comes the O/S and directs the Browser what it can show and go to regardless of IE or FF or Chrome. It works for all three Browser at one single time no messing with settings. Can surf the internet and not worry about popup ads or redirects makes net browsing much more fun to enjoy.

    You mean as numerous? FF has the clear advantage among all browsers.
    IE is significantly more advance. Its at least 3x faster at launch being almost instantaneous. It also renders text with higher contrast and better crispness than FF. It also has a larger viewing window on youtube videos.

    IE does load faster (like you've said, almost instantaneous) than FF. Not about IE being more advanced, not my field of expertise, but I've been using IE for the last 2-3 years and so far it's been pretty good.
    Really interested to see what Spartan brings to table.

    Not trying to stir another "this browser is better/ w.e method is better" debate. Just trying to see how other people browse and so that we steal/learn from each other.

    Not better...necessarily. But as mentioned, each has it pros and cons.

    Please keep the thread about add-ons. It's one thing to mention your browser of preference and which add-ons you use or ask for add-ons, it's another to start the which browser is best debate full on in this thread. That subject would be better off in its own thread.

    Adblock. Every device. The internet is horrible without it.

    I use Chrome due to having a lot of devices and services connected by Google. All my PCs have the power to run it easily so I'm not too worried about resources. I run IE on my weaker Tablets (Winbooks) due to the low amount of ram constricting Chrome's rather high demands for ram.

    Would need extensions for these, but Opera v12 has them embedded;

    • panels
    • links (all links in active page, w. quick search)
    • history with quick search
    • find in page
    • free customisation
    • mouse gestures
    • one-button shortcuts
    • dragonfly (html/css/script layout engine/inspector)
    • source
    • validate
    • site preferences
    • site style sheet / css (this forum is a *^&! without that ...)
    • open with (browser xyz; starts browser xyz with current page)
    • identify as (browser xyz; spoofing to fool websites)
    • reload every (x seconds; embedded DOS option ...)
    • block content (wildcards; ipfilter.ini)
    • wand.dat (encrypted this time ... *ahem*)
    • synchronize settings/bookmarks etc. (with different devices)
    • customizable user keyboard
    • customizable user mouse
    • customizable user menu
    • customizable user alt-menu
    • customizable user agent
    • customizable user js
    • customizable user style sheets
    • customizable user one-letter search engines (e something)
    • opera : config
    • opera : plugins
    Code:
    @charset "UTF-8";

    /*
    [style]
    [/style]
    */

    div.sponsored, div#FB_HiddenContainer, div.pluginSkinLight, div._4s7c, div.sidebar, .dataTable, .sharePage, .footerLegal, .breadBoxBottom {
    display: none !important;
    }

    div.pageWidth, div.pageContent, div.section, div.quickReply, #QuickReply, div.sectionMain {
    width: 100% !important;
    align-items: flex-start !important;
    }

    ol.messageList, div.breadBoxTop, div.titleBar, div.section, div.PreviewContainer {
    width: 1000px !important;
    align-items: flex-start !important;
    }

    .redactor_toolbar {
    width: 800px !important;
    align-items: flex-start !important;
    }

    body {
    background-color: #EBEBEB !important;
    }

    div.mainContainer, div.pageContent, img, div.avatarHolder {
    background-color: #EBEBEB !important;
    }

    .avatar img, .avatar .img, .avatarCropper {
    border: none !important;
    }

    .message {
    background-color: #EBEBEB !important;
    border-top: 22px solid #000000 !important;
    }

    fields, .formGroup, .xenForm, .ctrlUnit, .fullWidth {
    margin: 0px !important;
    padding: 0px !important;
    }
    [IMG]

    Apart from those, five actual extensions:
    Last one is a user javascript that strips file links from the current page, including those that are purposely hidden to prevent downloading (photo's on flickr, f.i.).
