    Best easy to use backup software?

    I know someone what wants to back up there outlook 2007 emails and selected folders, my documents etc. Whats the best app to do this pretty easily? as they are not the most computer literate.

    Have you seen carbonite? Its a web service that backs up the whole hard drive whenever they are connected to the internet. I have my mom run it, and it works like a champ.

    I also use crossloop to log into her machine ( www.crossloop.com) to restore the backups, and to help her with any computer problems. If she can do it well past AARP age I suspect your friend can too. Crossloop is FREE screensharing technology like PC Anywhere built on the TightVNC code.

    Really has been great the combo of the two. No more lost media / forgot to backup / etc. Carbonite just does it. It is cheap too I think like 30 per year.
