    Best avi to dvd converter

    What program is the best avi to dvd converter? I either use convertxtodvd or nero. Which one is better and are there any better ones?

    I have always used convertxtodvd, never had any problems.

    You could try winavi. It's pretty quick and fairly reliable as well in my experience, just doesn't have as many (if any) features for menu creation like nero. Out of the two you've suggested I'd go with Nero (because it's what I use), purely because it has a great menu creation option. Having said that I've never used convertxtodvd...

    I never create any menus so that feature is not needed for me. I usually use convertxtodvd, but which program can i get the best quaility?

    For Quality, FAVC using HCEnc as the encoder can't be beat for free.

    Another loyal ConvertXtoDVD user here. I've found it to be very reliable and it consistently produces high-quality burns (thanks to the fact that it uses ffmpeg).
