I used to love MediaMonkey, but now that I have Vista, I can't use it. :(

What is the best media player that can sync with an iPod and is compatible with Vista?

oh no!! media monkey is not compatible!! Havent tried it in vista but this does worry me!! It is THE best.. no doubt about it...

Try right clicking the shortcut then, select something like compatibility and then select run in windows xp... this just might do the trick... please let me know if it works...

Running it as administrator might help too, I know it's helped with Quickbooks 2005 at work. Incidentally, it was the network access that caused the problems, so if it's checking a source on the network when it starts up that might be the problem.

Thanks for the help guys. There is a compatibility wizard in the control panel. Worked like a charm. :)

WinAmp is real good. Uses low amount of RAM, so it keeps your system flying.

I would use winamp, but I love MM's album art lookup feature and auto organization tool.
