    I'm looking for the best free photoshop program to do things like take the face off on one person in apicture and put another face on top. It doesnt have to be perfect, I just want something like photoshop's lasso tool and a layer system, but for free. whats the best?

    and see gimptalk.com for lots of tutorials and help for GIMP

    seing as ive been a forum member longer than you have, i'm well aware of the stickies but seing as I had a special type of photoshop I was looking for, a new threat was warranted. Thanks anyways

    Photoshop is Free now as an Online version which can be used from within browser itself.

    Thank you for sharing it.

    By the way, I DID look through the thread of Free Windows programs, but it is VERY long (66 pages and counting... ) so I personally find this thread VERY useful. It just isn't that easy to search through all of those pages. I have browsed them, but if I want something specific, not sure what the harm is.

    I'm glad the op started this thread, doubt I would have come across this great program if he/she hadn't.

    Shel you don't have to browse through all the pages to find software, unlike the old one this one has all the updates in the first post.
