    Hi! :)
I need some advice with battery managers.
On my W520 I use the lenovo battery manager and it works incredibly good, never overcharge, let's the battery discharge if needed etc and keeps my batter in very good conditions.

I have another laptop that is not lenovo and I use the standard win7 battery manager but would like to use something similar to the lenovo battery manager.
do you know other programs that works like the lenovo one? or even better, to keep my batter in good condition and don't die in a few months?

    Thanks!

In my opinion, the windows battery manager works good enough as is, I really didn't have any serious concerns or problems with it. In the beginning, it might give you outrageous times or might falter (Increasing suddenly by one hour or lowering the time by one hour) but usually after 5 minutes of use, it gives you a pretty good reading.

Yeah, BatteryCare offers most the of features of the paid version of BatteryBar. But there usually is a sale on BateryBar where you can buy it for minimum $2 name any price.

The one thing I like about BatteryBar is the icon it puts on your taskbar so you have a clear indication of battery life or charge status.

but do all of those 'features' do anything useful? Interesting, informative, but useful??

I've never used any kind of battery management software and I've never had a laptop battery last less than 3 years.

I bought the batterybar pro when it went on sale. I like how it gives me a percentage of how much charge I have when I move my laptop around and when it is time for a charge.
