    Battery life extending software?

    Hi i am going on a long bus journey on Saturday and id like to watch some movies on my laptop (which is on vista)

    Wondering if theres any software i can buy or free that will help extend the battery life?

    Also since i have had my laptop (about a week) i havent let my battery fully die shud i do that and stuff?

    Ya, the brightness switch and the volume switch.
    Along with wireless off, and things like that.
    Undervolting might work.

    Switch the power plan to "power saver".
    You can do this by clicking on the power icon in the system tray and selecting the power saver plan.
    Also, turn off wireless and bluetooth if you have that.
