is there any software that could make my battery last longer? Something like slowing down the hard drive or CPU. I have a Acer Ferrari 3400.

Someone mentioned that in the Essential Software thread. It does make a bit of an improvement. I don't notice it as much since my CPU and hard disk slow down so much on battery power anyway, but you might.

Hopefully it does something for you!
