    Vista or XP?

The easiest way to do it, I believe this works, but have to be on work machine to test it on 2007.

File (goofy Office button) | Import and Export | Export to a file | .pst file (personal folder file) | Save to a flash or desktop

OR... if you Auto Archive your Inbox...

Tools | Folder Options | Show Hidden Files and Folders | Apply, OK

    XP: C:\Documents and Settings\**Your User Name**\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook

Vista (I believe) C:\Users\**Your User Name**\Same as above

Grab the .pst files and back them up to desktop or flash drive. This will allow you to keep your emails and folders from your current setup. You will most likely have to re-setup your accounts upon reinstall.

I can't find a help document on MS Office site to verify, but this works on 2003. I am not sure if it brings over accounts, or just emails, but I'd try it.

Saving the .PST is not a problem. The step I want to avoid is manual entering all the email accounts whenever I restore or reinstall Outlook. I remember Outlook 2000 had a export account command, but Microsoft removed it for some reason.
