Recently, my laptop has been getting random boot up BSODs which I'm not sure what the cause maybe. It did not state the file that caused the crash. It just tells me to run scan disk. I've tried to do it, but then I would just get BSOD (since I can't run scan disk while windows is on). I tried to install Vista SP1 which I downloaded from microsoft's website and it failed saying "internal error occured".

    Can someone help me?
