The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Anyone know where I can DL the aquarium screensaver without all the apyware/adware crap being DL with it?

    Nope, sorry. I use the 3D windows XP screensaver. It's pretty neat.

    The aqaurium screensaver I believe you are talking about comes in three versions: The simple, evaluation-style limited version in the Mircrosoft Windows XP Plus! pack (http://www.microsoft.com/windows/plus/windowsxp/default.asp, $30), and as a full version purchased either online from it's maker, SereneScreen ($20, http://www.serenescreen.com/product/), or in a jewel case from Wal-Mart or a similar retailer (usually about $10).

    This is a retail product, believe it or not, so simply downloading it without paying for it is technically piracy. If that's still the route you want to take, I won't help you out there other than to say just Google it, and hope you have up-to-date antivirus definitions.
