The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Just curious who is using the 7 RC until March :p. One of the computers has it, just waiting for it to die. Question is what to replace the Windows 7 install with :eek:

    Well, I still have it on my PC, but I have it on dual-boot with XP,so im simply gonna delete all the windows files and all and go back to boring XP :p

    I have a friend who is still on the RC, even though he's a TechNet subscriber, and can download and install W7RTM whenever he wants. Just hasn't gotten around to it yet. It's going to hurt when it starts shutting down on him!

    Finally put RTM on my last RC system—as I was NOT looking forward to trying to do a full backup of the box while the () machine is rebooting every two hours…
