The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     other than turning the annoying uac off (not recommended by many users), i have found no need at this moment to tweak vista.

    My un.tweaked vista at the moment is performing much better than my tweaked XP, within my environment.

    Tweaking vista? Eventually, i m sure. Main issue for me at the moment is drivers (hp printer and webcam)
