I'm with the OP. I hate those things.

AdBlock plus doesn't work on them.

That's strange, it should work, I can't recall getting any of those with Ad Block Plus for Firefox.

I'm running NoScript + AdBlock Plus, why didn't you like it? All it does is block all ads from appearing. I don't see how you could not like not seeing ads. If for some reason a website you were trying to view had issues displaying properly with ABP, you could have just disabled ABP on that specific website.

I usually get most ads blocked with Ad block plus, but for some reason new adds that are permanantly attached to the sides of websites that are running flash or something cant be block for some odd reason i tried right clicking and everything but nothing works, cuz some of them are like really inappropriate for searching around family members and its so irritating...any suggestions?

Try Flashblock or NoScript(you load only what you want to see via the scripts the sites used).

Also, you might want to look into modified host files. It works for all browsers and it will makes ads display as a connection issue(for IE, it is "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage").

The problem is that a lot of sites are serving new ads as a DHTML overlay, and often times coming from their server. Even if the hosts file or Adblock blocks the content, the "popup" overlay will still display.
