Anyone know of any programs that will allow you to "sync" folders from a laptop to another folder. What I mean by this, is that, if there were 2 folders (one on the desktop, one on the laptop), is there anyway to make it so that it doesn't matter which computer opens/edits the file but the file that is the most "updated" automatically replaces the outdated file for both computers.

    -hope that makes sense

I think that is built into W#indows with its 'Briefcase' folder type. Look at XP help to see if this is what you want.

Ah, thanks for the suggestions. I think though I will just stick with briefcase if that's already built in.

I use a product called AJC Directory Synchronizer works as advertised and the purpose price includes unlimited upgrades (I believe)

I have two main folders (Desktop / Laptop) that I sync daily (work crap). A few others (pictures / music) I do monthly. Lots of options as to how to sync and delete , ignore , etc. If I remember correctly it was pretty cheap.
