A few days ago I cleaned up my computer by using CCleaner and disk defrag like I usually do, but somewhat stupidly I thought I'd try do a registry defrag for the first time. Ever since that registry defrag, I've had an annoying problem with my Music Folder. It seems like a Windows Explorer issue, but it's only affecting the music folder. The details at the top keep changing back. For example, I want it to show the bit rate and the date modified and not show Rating. So I changed the details and it works fine, but once I restart it reverts back. How can I get it to stay?

    Thanks

I take it you're using Windows Vista? Welcome to the group! :( There are some tricks to fix it, but they don't always work.

Though, I've yet to see this problem rear it's ugly head since I've installed SP2. Then again, it's only been like 2 days since I did it.

Thanks. I followed the Vistax64 website tutorial and so far so good.

Is it fixed in Windows 7?
