    Hello,

I have a Fujitsu-Siemens Lifebook s7110 laptop. My OS is Windows Vista Business.

Everything else seems to work fine except one thing.
Everytime I log onto my desktop, the screen flickers twice - first flicker disables Aero and second flicker enables it again.
It's not a huge problem but it's kind of annoying.
Does anybody have an idea how to solve this problem so that the Aero effect is on by default and there's no flickering?
I have Intel's integrated video. I've tried the latest drivers from Intel webpage and also the ones from Vista Update.
If you need more info about my laptop then just ask :)

    Thanks in advance.

Is it when you're on your desktop or during boot?

Vista boots up. I put my login info and log in. After I see my desktop for the first time the flickering occures.
Even if I have locked the laptop and then unlock it again the same happens.
Everytime the desktop loads it turns the aero off and then on again.

Hehe, fixed it by myself. Searched the net and all - didn't find anything.
Had a look into the first thread of this forum: "Top Windows Vista Tweaks You Can Find" and the first tweak: "Disable TMM"
That did the trick - no more flickering screen :)

That's what I wanted to suggest you but from what I've read I thought TMM problem was only during boot

TMM - At log on of any user
Not just on boot but everytime somebody logs in.

To me it is annoying if it happens twice every single time I unlock the laptop (and I do it a lot when I'm at work).
