I have a toshiba A305-6837 laptop. It has vista home premium. I have used my digital camera & used the microsoft software thats standard to DL my pics,. It always errors after downloading, I have noticed alot of little WINDOWS errors lately. When I try to play a movie I downloaded it says the media cant play it but it can play the next one. I have lost track of all the names of the errors but the biggest one has to do with the picture downloading thing as now when i plug in the camera where it asks what software to use ther eis like 5 copies of the same windows software in the list.. I wonder if anyone else has run into this? Wondering if my Windows is corrupt or something.

Is it possible to get clear screenshot of the error log or the error code' (if there is any) or the error popup window?? I think that would help further

also, if you ahve error codes, you could try searching for that in google and you might hit on some info, including troubleshooting options

Further, if you seem to have lots of them, either its time for a clean install or you could try the inplace repair / upgrade if you have the vista disc...
