    Hi All,

I have been trying for ages using registry tweaks and different drivers to get Vista Aero Glass running on both a GeForce MX440 64MB and Integrated Intel 910/915 chips with no success (not supprisingly)!

I know it's old skool hardware but it would be nice to have Aero Glass running on these devices. I have managed to get Aero working on an old Radeon 9250 128mb!

Please don't just say 'upgrade your hardware' as I allready have other PC's on which Aero works just fine.

    Any ideas anyone?

    Thanks in advance

Aero Glass does have hardware requirements, you know, and the MX440 comes up woefully short; as does the Intel GMA. No amount of tweaking will change this. The oldest Intel chip that can run Aero that I know of is the 950. The Aero requirements are:

The MX440 doesn't even support DirectX 9, let alone Pixel Shader 2.0. Specs for MX440 are here.

Its been that long since I used my 9250 I cant honestly remember. I think I used the first beta release from ATI for the SE version of tha card. I'll try to find the screenshot I have.
