I have 36.99 GB's of Unallocated Space just sitting there. And I want to add it to my primary C: Partition. Since the C: Partition is my Windows partition, I know that you have to do the partitioning before you boot Windows. My question is, how do you do this and what program do you use? I have Acronis Disk Director, by the way.

    Thanks in advance!

Oh please, what is this, your private support hotline? Has it occurred to you that we're not here to serve you? Bumping a thread one hour after you originally posted is pretty damn arrogant. I'm the most important, here here see my post, please help me I'm much more important than all those other threads.

If you're going to ask for help, please just try to behave. Remember that this is a community forum, not your slaves.

Vista has this already built in to it. Open "Computer Management" in Control Panel/Administration Tools, then the Storage manager. Right-click on your C: and choose "Extend partition". Then choose the other space to extend the partition to.

I tried GParted and it didn't work, saying that the maximum size of the C: partition is only 110 GB. Are there any programs that I can use that will add the unallocated space right before it boots into Windows?

Have you moved the unallocated space to the right side of C:?

Rather than clicking on the box graphic, you need to right click on the line below that describes the extended partition. That had me baffled also.

I'm still really confused. I can't get it to work at all... If there's any step by step instructions on this, that would be awesome!

The snapshot below of my HD is using Partiton Magic in Windows, but looks similar to Gparted. Rather than clicking on the box with the extended partition to delete, you need to right click on the line below that describes it, to bring up the menu. Just remember some tasks take a long time. Do not, or try not to, disrupt the task.

Here's a couple Youtube videos of Gparted that may be helpful..
