    Which AIM version takes the least amount of memory/cpu

    while being able to have the video chat option on vista ultimate 64 bit?

    I use AIM AD HACK. not sure about the others. currently using 47 mb.

    wat is that exactly. do i have to dl AIM itself AND AIM Ad hack or jjust aim ad hack. and is it safe virus wise

    just use AIM AD HACK, it installs aim, then uninstalls all the useless features that you do use or even know about. I've been using it for years, haven't had a virus due to it.

    It's AIM, the program, just without the useless bloatware, so yes you can use video.

    but an easier solution would be

    www.meebo.com

    i think you an use video there.

    Yup www.meebo.com is light (barely changes memory usage of your browser) supports, voice, video, etc. Works with MSN/AIM/Yahoo and one other messenger.

    Miranda IM will work on vista.
    everytime i use Trillian i get traffic up/dn from a Langley Virginia node (CIA?)

    various web based IM's also if you really dont have the ram.
