May I ask why you need 3 docks?

Are you familiar with Launchy? If not, I recommend taking a look. Why have 3 docks...besides the fact they each consume a decent amount of resources, 3 docks on a single monitor is overkill, imo.

I left the Windows Taskbar (at the bottom) for the System Tray, Start Menu, and Running Programs. I have my frequently used programs on RocketDock (at the top) like this. Both in autohide mode.

I hear that you can have more than one, and tabbed docks, too, with the paid version of ObjectDock.

What is the resource usage on these docks? I would like to get one but I'm real conservative with how my system resources are allocated lol

They are not to bad. Depending on what you have, and how you have it set up "Like High Quality, fast lookup" etc.

My ObjectDock right now is using 2,168 K Memory, and 00 CPU.

They don't take up alot of resources, and they are VERY nice to have if you want to free up, and organize some space on your desktop, and not to mention make it look perty.

Oh, and also to add. You can always download it, try it, and the un-install it if you don't like it. Not like it's permanent. :D

RocketDock is the best, I'm hoping they add a 2nd dock option badly...I might even buy it. (Yes, I know about Objectdock, I use it as well...)

Why don't use Stacks Docklet and put them in one folder?

ObjectDock(10 icons) uses less than 5MB on average for me, it has a performance option, Optimize for Performance or Memory, which I notice no difference at all.

Most people like it because they can free up alot of their desk space for things like Rainmeter, Windows Sidebar, Yahoo! Widgets, etc etc.

But if your like me, and used to putting anything and everything on your desktop untill it looks like a mine field of applications, than the change can be a little hard to get used to.

well i will only have two on the screen and the third will be hidden unless i hoverover the area, i plan on upgrading my ram anyway. at the moment objectkdock is using 9,092k and rocketdock is using 4,700k and look at it they dont seen to go much higher, after chaning its performance it now is using 4,600k s together they are only using just over 9MB

i have that, but i cant find docklets for it, it says that it can use objectdock docklets and ive tried that but it still doesnt work, any ideas?

objectdock is also free, but there is a paid option that gives you more options and allows you to use a second dock maybe thats what Guitarrasdeamor meant
