I was wondering if it was possible to make a home-made Vista installation DVD with my softwares/configuration. Pretty much like Vlite but to be able to add softwares (can it do it?)

You mean like having a set of programs slip streamed into the Vista installation?

You could also do a fresh Vista install on another HD and install the programs you desire, then just put a clone of that drive onto DVD's.

I believe what you're looking for is the Windows Automated Installation Kit (WAIK). I don't have experience with it as of yet, but there's a lot of documentation about it.
    This should get you started.

Okay thanks. I'm gonna try it next month. Will be usefull if I can have all my drivers + base softwares already installed

The DVD backup also works, but it takes lots of them and it's a bit long.

    +1 both
