I just bought 8gb sdhc card for eeepc, for some reason my dual boot joybook s41 windows xp (SP2) can't detect it, but it's detected on the ubuntu. It's also detected on the xandros eeepc, I wonder if it might happened because outdated usb driver?

If I'm not mistaken I use Texas PCI controller, its last updated 2006, but I'm not really sure. At first I thought the card reader doesnt support SDHC card, but since the ubuntu could detect it, there must be something wrong with the driver. Any help would be appreciated, coz I want to make liveusb for my mom's eeepc, and I need XP to do it -_-

Yeah, no one bothered to write SDHC drivers for XP. There might be a hack to do it...but I am not sure.

Try this (or install SP3, which should include the same or even newer file versions).
