This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     75 or 25 processes?

    Why do I count 25 processes but the Task Manager says 72? (it actually read 75 when I opened spinning)

    You're only showing processes that your current username/login is using. If you click the "Show processes from all users" you'll get the 72/75.

    Or it could be including the Baby processes....
    Cross check with Process Explorer....

    No, you have to check the "Show processes from all users" as NGB said.
    It will get UAC to pester you and then reveal all the mysteries that run in the background.
