Hi, Please could someone help me. My Acer 5920G has a problem. Im using Vista (crap I know) I switched the mic on for the first time last night, and ever since I cannot switch it off, so its picking up every sound. Ive tried going through control panel and recording devices, but as soon as i click on the recording devices tab, it says the mic is on and working but then the laptop freezes up and i have to restart my pc before i can begin to think about messing with the volume button etc. Its really annoying!

If anyone can help, id be very grateful.
