    has anyone managed to get 5.1 surround sound to work on windows 7, i tried using sound man, i clicked 6channel and then ok but it went back to 2 channel x.x i tried setting windows to 5.1 but still no. this is on my medion desktop btw.

    5.1 surround sound works fine for me with an old Creative Audigy 2 ZS notebook (PCMCIA card) with the vista drivers.
