I've been having an issue with 3dmark 06. It has been crashing every time i run it. It used to crash every time i started it and never finished a test, and now that i updated chipset drivers, it goes through a few tests and then crashes.

before the chipset update it would restart the whole machine. now it just crashes itself and leaves the machine running. 3dmark05 runs fine.

anyone know what this could be?

Edited: cpu/gpu temps are all fine.

memtest gave me nothing really. it could be voltages or an individual component. i'll do troubleshooting tomorrow.

I tried 3dmark06 on my old laptop, but it has a minimum system requirement of 1gb of system memory and a 256mb graphics card!!!
