    3Dcad on Inspiron 9100

    [ :(] I can't get Solid Edge running smoothly on my 9100.
    When rotating an object it jumps rather that rotating smoothly!!
    Graphics card: ATI Mobility Radeon 9700.
    Can anyone advise?

    Make sure no other programs are running.

    Maybe you should buy more ram at www.crucial.com

    Go to http://www.solid-edge.com/overview/system.requirements.htm

    It is the Solid Edge website and has hardware tests that you can perform on your computer.

    I have 1GB of Ram, Pentium 4 3.2GHz, which should be more than adequate!
    The software suppliers haven't got back to me yet.

    Found a suitable driver, software is working fine, phew! [ :D]

    Mobility radeon is different than regular radeon. It is smaller, cooler, and specially designed for each notebook. Don't get the two confused.
