So, I'm trying to do something like this.

    I have two accounts:

    1. My university account
    2. My personal g-mail account.

Now, I want both of these accounts to be open at the same time in outlook, so I can switch between them whenever I get an e-mail in them. Is there a way to do this?

If this is more convenient in Thunderbird, I'll start using that instead.

If your uni. uses an exchange server, for email, you might be forced to use Outlook Web Access. I tried to setup my Uni. email in the Outlook client, but IT insisted that all students must use OWA.

It's a bit tricky with Outlook, but after you setup your accounts you'll have to set them to use different data files. Or else it will just cram it together.

Also, possibly of interest, you can also have more than one calendar in outlook as well. You can keep one for personal and one for school.

Click the calender tab (bottom left), then click file, new, calender.

You can then view them individually, together side by side, or combined.

I know some people that have kids that have one for work, one for personal, and one for each of their three kids.

Good to know. I don't use Outlook that indepth. Multiple calendars would be a nice feature to have.
