    Hey,
I am looking for a free audio converter that supports .aac to .mp3. After ripping many of my CD's in Winamp, I realized that I forgot to switch it to MP3 format. Now I am unable to put these files on my MP3 player, and I do not want to take the time to re-rip all of those CD's.
    Thanks

This is the one that I'm using
    http://www.dbpoweramp.com/dmc.htm

It doesn't have a limit on the number of files you can convert at one like others, and you get a 30day trial.

    Thanks SG.
I did half of the files with iTunes, and half with dBpowerAmp.. dBpowerAmp was a tad faster (this may have been affected by file sizes though), but both very good suggestions!

I am using Xilisoft Audio Converter, it's not free but you can get the keygen on limewire and after doing that it works perfectly.

This is what I always use. You can convert virtually any media file format for free. Super Video Converter Who wants to pay for commercial software when you can get a free one that does the same thing?

This thread is over 3 years old. That was a spammer who revived this thread. I am just going to close this.
