I have received this blue screen error message (see below) two days in a row now, yesterday and today. I was just going to blow it off but the fact that it happened again kind of has me worried.

    The message reads like this:

    ***Hardware Malfunction
Call your hardware vendor for support
NMI: Parity Check/ Memory Parity Error
    ***The System has halted***

    Can anyone help me out?

It's not guaranteed, but it's most likely:

    *** Hardware Malfunction
Call your hardware vendor for support
NMI: Parity Check/ Memory Parity Error
    ***The System has halted***

You probably have a faulty ram module.

You can see what microsoft says about this error here.

Try doing a memory test. You may be able to do this at bootup through the BIOS.

Find memtest 86. Any application that runs under Windows CANNOT really test memory. You need an app that boots from a diskette or CD.
