    Hello,

After reading quite a bit of reviews on this forum and xoticpc forum I decided to purchase a Sager NP9150 laptop which I want to use for gaming(Mostly GW2/Battlefield 3/ Diablo 3/TeamFortress 2/League of Legends) and school.

I ordered the PC with the following specs:

    3rd Generation Intel® Ivy Bridge Core™ i7-3630QM (2.4GHz - 3.4GHz, 6MB Intel® Smart Cache, 45W Max TDP)
    AMD Radeon HD 7970M (2048MB) GDDR5 DX11 [User Upgradeable]
    12GB - DDR3 1600MHz Dual Channel Memory
    256GB Crucial M4 mSATA SSD ( Storage Drive )
    750GB 7200RPM [Serial-ATA II 300 - 16MB Cache]
6x Blu-Ray Read/8X DVDRW Super Multi Combo Drive
    Intel® Advanced-N 6235 - 802.11A/B/G/N Wireless LAN Module + Bluetooth™ 4.0

I did not purchase an operating system as I have a Windows 7 Pro already. I read that some people do have trouble getting the OS to install correctly onto mSATA drive (I want to use mSATA as primary drive, storage for all games etc and the HDD will be used for school books/work/music/pics etc etc.)

I have 1 question regarding my purchase and a request for someone to give me a small detailed guide that will show me how to correctly install OS on mSATA and use it as my primary.

My question is, if I want to use mSATA as primary OS drive should I have selected the " 256GB Crucial M4 mSATA SSD - Preconfigured as an OS Drive ( Operating System – Drive C: )" over the (Storage Drive option). If so, I might be able to call xoticpc and get them to change it (ordered on weekend so PC hasn't started its construction yet)

    Thank you,
    Deven.

Pretty simple. Install Windows or OS to mSata and set it as first to boot from in BIOS. I did it like this on my machine.

BTW, nice NP9150. I wanted one too.

Installing Windows on a mSATA is he same as Installing on any HDD, just make sure you select the mSATA when you go through the process of installing Windows and set it as the first device to boot from in the bios.
