what is the sort of things that is actually "remembered" once I see the message like "remember your device"?

what is the parameter that makes one device different and distinguishable from another one when they are of the same model?

In other words, if I have another mobile device which is of the exactly the same model, would it be seen as the same device or a different one?

If I factory reset the whole device, could the server side "forget" my device? Could they still know that it's the same device?

If you're talking in terms of a website, it's tied to a cookie. If you're talking about an app, it could be tied to any number of things in your phone from the serial number to just your phone number.
