Anyone else intrigued by the direction Apple is going with iOS 11?

With a file explorer, a swipe-in Apps-Edge-esque dock, a multitasker that resembles macOS Launchpad or Win 10 Task View, and drag-and-drop between split screen windows, it's much more computer-y than iOS has ever been before.

They really increase the productivity of their devices, especially the iPad Pro. It's like a laptop truly. For now, I havent seen any downside of the iOS 11.

Yeah, I feel with iOS 11, the iPad Pro can be mentioned in the same sentence as the Surface Pro.

I hope all of these features make their way to the iPhone and aren't iPad exclusive features, especially the Dock and Files.

They add features that should have been there right from the start. =p

So, can iPad be used as laptop replacement for office after this update, without substantial loss of productivity?

The way iOS handles files is abysmal. I'm glad to see they are adding a file manager. Next release maybe they will add a back button. :D

going to be interesting for sure. My ipad air 2 should be able to handle it no problem.....I hope. ha ha. still won't be as good as windows 10, but....better than what it is now. By the time its released I will have the keyboard case for it.!

I saw a mention in a video that NFC would be available to other apps than just Apple Pay. That is interesting to me, since practically nothing in this country supports Apple Pay... and the other uses, such ast tap to pair devices.
Also this slide was briefly shown. The less important stuff, or whatever.
