Pretty good value, but with the same display (5.15" 1080p IPS) and body of the Mi 5 (there was a Mi 5S in between), it's hardly anything to write home about. Xiaomi's more exciting phones this year will be the Note 3 and Mi Mix 2, the latter of which will once again be designed by Philippe Starck. The OnePlus 5 will beat the Mi 6, just as the 3T beat the 5S. What's more concerning about their flagships is the lack of kernel source, partial or otherwise – the 6-month-old Mi Note 2 is still without it. Android purists and tweakers will more easily opt for the OnePlus family due to OxygenOS and developer support.

As 6.4" Mi Max owner, all I can say is: Too small!

6.4" is too small?!? At what point should you just buy a cellular capable tablet?

I think he meant that the 5.15-inch display of the Mi 6 is too small.
