    What are everyone's thoughts on the Chuwi Surbook for a basic device?

    I am thinking about getting two surbooks with pen and keyboard for my son and myself. what are peoples thoughts on the surface device.

    @kojack well, the CPU is glorified Atom, which kinda tells the story; slow eMMC storage ain't going to make the experience better, either. Port selection and display are fantastic, on the other hand. Still, at $370 + shipping (cheapest I was able to find for the tablet without keyboard) it's definitely pricey.

    I found one for 349 CDN, where as the 128 gb surface 3 was 600 plus...both without pen and keyboard. So, I figure the surbook is very comparable to the surface 3, but 1/2 the price.

    @kojack FWIW used Surface 3 costs less than $300. But at 349 CDN ($280 USD), Surbook is a very viable alternative. Still, I personally wouldn't take it - very poor battery life for a convertible device will destroy the experience, IMO. Your mileage may vary, ofc.
