I think I'm gonna buy an ip cam, like Foscam C1 for example http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...ue&ref_=ox_sc_act_title_1&smid=A3EAGHUDJTVOCW
Now what should I be looking at as far as tablet ? It's strictly for watching the baby on cam, having it on all night long streaming the video and sound.
If the cam I grab is 720p or lets say 1080p should I grab 720p tablet for better viewing, I see most cheap tablets are 640x480 resolution.

These hadn't really got going when my son came along, so I can't speak from experience. I mentioned it to a few colleagues out of curiosity, and two of them use baby cams. I'm not sure what resolution their recording equipment outputs but they are both using low resolution displays to view the video itself. They said that it works well enough to see what is going on and that they generally prefer to get up and check if they think it is necessary.
