    On March 14th 2019 I bought a galaxy s9 plus. Why¥..

    No notch
    Iris scanner
    Back side fingerprint scanner
Ui experience matching cups and GPU unreleased ie
    Snapdragon 875
Hdr infinity display...not hdr+ but seriously compare and say the plus isnt too saturated.

    S10 now out....s9 plus trumps s10e and s10 has only one advantage...camera

    S10 plus >
    s9plus

But is it over s11 or s12...I'll pass...anyone else underwhelmed

Honestly I skipped S9 exactly because of the back fingerprint scanner. I have the phone on my desk next to my computer a lot and find it really useful to be able to unlock it without picking it up to access the backside.

Otherwise yes, I'm also not impressed so far by the 10 line, I still use S7 and will probably wait to see what's up with the Note 10.

:(I bought the s9 plus and hated it, the screen was beautiful, that’s a fact, but the ui skin and Samsung’s bloatware coupled with the fingerprint scanner position let the phone down in its entirety. In the uk and eu we have the ‘exynos’ versions, which are actually 5-10% faster than the Qualcomm variants but drain battery like crazy. So as you know battery life was also terrible, with my phone only lasting 3 hours and 30 minutes on constant use/7 hours barely on mediocre use.

In comparison my Xs max will last me 7 hours on constant and 2 days on mediocre. That 7nm architecture is a lifesaver...

I used to be an android kernel developer (modder lol/cpu clocks and gpu overclocking) when I was in my early teens 12/13 back then having an Xperia x10 was a GODSEND or even a Galaxy s2. I loved Xperia and did a lot of kernels mods for them. It’s sad to say they fell off, that was my childhood ever since the Sony Ericsson Walkman w810i :(
