The reason why I ditched Samsung forever. They sell us (Europe + Middle East) overpriced phones with inferior SoC and battery life

I know what they are, the fact that I can't buy one here is great. I am seriously looking at the a71. Got everything I need nothing I don't. I wish microsoft would open up the android app integration to all android phones instead of just samsung however.

Don't forget India, Australia and others.
Exynos can't pick up signals even when the cell tower is few meters away and always reverts to 2G when 4G drops to -98dBm. Qcomm maintains 4G till -110dBm (pretty bad, I know).
For a burner phone, A71 is good enough.

Imo for any phone besides gaming the a71 is awesome. The bang for buck is really high. I keep going back to my tab a 8 2019. It's was ok for what I was doing with it but then it got the android 10 update. What a difference it made to this little tablet. My iPad sits on my desk now and I am constantly using the galaxy. 1/3 the cost and 95 % as good now. I love the latest MS launcher on it too.

The a71 does not have wireless charging or ip rating but that's the only downsides I see comparing it to my iPhone. Expandable storage is a big thing, windows integration is a big thing, the screen is deadly on it, and it's just awesome that I can install MS launcher on it too.

For 549 cdn. It's 50 bucks cheaper than the iPhone but worth more.

If it works for you then its good. I don't think you'll save much by 50 CAD by going with bigger internal storage since it has more Write cycles than smaller micro-SD which can fail in near future w/o any warning. Also, Android doesn't auto-fix filesystem corruption on fat32/exFAT by deafult so you need a Windows PC to fix those errors.
You always switch to iOS by saying Android is super laggy, slow IO, garbage battery life while older iPhone 6s/8 had better battery life, LTE coverage, Wifi speed, Day 1 like performance, A11/A12 Bionic which puts Androids to shame.

Don't worry about me. Oh. And if you missed it. I also stated android 10 is much faster than previous versions and iOS is becoming very buggy as well. My cheap Samsung tab a 8 is now more stable than my iPad 6th gen which has frequent spazz outs from apps crashing etc since 13.3

Try iOS 13.6. Android 10 is fast but not super stable unlike iOS 13.6.
Reset location and privacy and you should be alright.

Tried it all. My iPad and iPhone are worse than my android 10 based Samsung tab a.
