What do you guy`s think of Samsung decision to make this tablet, would you buy it, is it a fair price for the spec.

What other tables can you buy for the same money or less.

For the 9.7" 132 ppi to be classed as retina you have to hold it at 26" away, at that distance you cannot see the pixels.

For the 8.0" 160 ppi to be classed as retina you have to hold it at 21" away, at that distance you cannot see the pixels.

Why not pick up a 2013 Nexus 7? Sure the specs aren't the absolute best these days, but you are getting stock Lollipop on it. And you are getting a 1920x1200 screen, no microSD though. And the Tab A only has 1.5 GB RAM, I don't think that's enough to run TouchWiz lag free...

I'm seeing 133.8 quid for the 16 GB and 141 quid for the 32 GB.

Yeah, it`s not for me, I just wondered what people though of the specs and you could buy a lot better tablet for the same or less money.

Still good advice with the Nexus 7, I would say also try the Lenovo Yoga 8" or 10" it`s a couple of years old, but it`s a really good cheap tab, with 18hr battery life and a built in stand with front facing speakers.

I have an Samsung Tab S 10.5" so i will not be looking for an new Tab for the foreseeable future.

Honestly the entry level Tab products need to be closer to 100 dollars, I can't see myself plopping down 150 for an entry level Tab when say the Nexus 7 is still floating around 170-180 dollars. I guess they are praying on people who see a Samsung product for less than 200 dollars.
