I definitely won't be first in line to be a beta tester.

I have my doubts. The flexible screen isn't ready for the limelight, especially at the reported 4k resolution. The 1080p flexible panel has been rumored to debut in a Note for the past two years. The last thing, if evleaks hasn't written about it, I'll take the rumor with a spoonful of salt.

Will it be as "exciting" and "useful" as the LG G-Flex line?

With a flexible display, what protects the pixels from light impact damage that glass would just shrug off (no flexible glass) so are they using a plastic screen protector type film for the top layer, can an overly hard poke with a pen/stylus going to break it?

I don't think flexible display + pen is gonna happen
Wouldn't it just bend in if you press it with pen hard enough..
    and
where will the solid pen go, all the note series had pen slots
