Any other S7 Edge owners here suffering an intermittent pink line about 1 cm from the edge of the screen? First showed up for me today, and it looks EXACTLY like this:

Any experiences with Samsung on what their actual warranty policy is? I don't want to ship a phone off just to wait a week with no phone and then find out that they want a couple hundred to replace the screen.

Did you get the phone from your carrier or did you buy it outright? Seems sending it in is totally a gamble, as it isn't officially acknowledged it is an official recall/issue, so it would be put down to the individual technician who works on it.

I got it from my carrier and didn't buy an extra warranty from my carrier. And I use it everyday for work so I don't want to just ship it off to see what happens.

Anyone know if this problem degenerates into complete screen failure or just stays like this?

US Cellular staff at the local store took good care of me; a new device is being overnighted and I can keep using this one until the replacement device arrives. They were familiar with the pink line issue and didn't play the "I don't know what you're talking about" line that you sometimes see carrier stores playing with well-known defects.
