Any other S7 Edge owners here suffering an intermittent pink line about 1 cm from the edge of the screen? First showed up for me today, and it looks EXACTLY like this:

Any experiences with Samsung on what their actual warranty policy is? I don't want to ship a phone off just to wait a week with no phone and then find out that they want a couple hundred to replace the screen.

The official response is that the phone will be repaired if it's still under warranty and there is no external damage to the phone, but I'm not 100% sure that applies to all countries and carriers. Sorry to hear yours exhibits this issue.

Did you get the phone from your carrier or did you buy it outright? Seems sending it in is totally a gamble, as it isn't officially acknowledged it is an official recall/issue, so it would be put down to the individual technician who works on it.

Anyone know if this problem degenerates into complete screen failure or just stays like this? -
US Cellular staff at the local store took good care of me; a new device is being overnighted and I can keep using this one until the replacement device arrives. They were familiar with the pink line issue and didn't play the "I don't know what you're talking about" line that you sometimes see carrier stores playing with well-known defects.
